Good lord. I was thinking of selling my yo dude duals with quad tips and flowmaster for a custom setup.

This guy said he did another cougar and charged 945.00 !!! I mean - I know its custom - but $hit - 945.00?

Anybody experience this with custom setup's?

for $945 it better be stainless steel, madrel bent, and have 14K gold tips...

EDIT: Maybe he's including fabricating a y-pipe and cat?

HOLY FREAKING CRAP!

Get a borla duel with carbon fiber tips and I still bet it will be cheaper after install!!!

ShinyBlackCat- No custom fabricating. It is SS and madrel bent. (no 14k tips either ;)

The only really custom stuff would be cutting the back exit off the Cat to open it to 2.5. We are just going to use the MSDS Y Pipe I have on there. And then welding a new one on.

EDIT** Now that I think about it though - he didnt go into detail about what he did for this other customer. So it may have involved a lot of other work. I'll have too see his final price after he gets my car on the rack and takes a look. I was still shocked about 945.00 though. I cant see spending a
a grand that wont give you a equal amount of horsepower...

There is a guy that makes a true dual exhaust over here for contour svt's for around $1,200. I know it sounds like alot but it looks great.
