Predators vs. Storm - Car Show & Tailgate Party!

Finally car shows seem to be thinking more "outside the box". The Orlando Predators are hosting a car show on Feb. 9 for their season opener against the Tampa Bay Storm. I know its early but this could be a lot of fun. I've posted the details here. (http://www.cougarbash.com/morph/predators.html)

For only $15, you get admission to the game, car show registration and parking.

The Predator Dance Team and staff will be judging the event. Apparently, winners will be announced at halftime, on the Jumbotron scoreboard! And they seem to be hinting at possible television exposure...

The Arena Football League has just signed a deal with the NBC network for exclusive broadcasting of the 2003 season. Bring out your club's banner and
show it at the game.
Deadline to register is January 18th. I'm not sure yet how we're supposed to register, but as soon as I find out, I'll post more.

i was explaining that the link said it was at waterhouse (thought maybe he hadnt seeen the link and was asking where it was)...then i said that Waterhouse was in orlando and was explaining that it used to be called orlando arena in case he didnt realize it had changed names in the last couple years....

how frigging simple and nice do i have to be to keep people from jumping down my throat? if i was being an asshole i would have added exclamation points or :rolleyes: or something sarcastic...i guess this is a case of "boy who cried wolf" since usually i am being sarcastic...but i am never really downright mean!

Click the link and it will open the Registration Form, scroll to the bottom and it lists two methods for registering. You can either print the form, fill it out and mail it with a check to the address given, or you can call the number listed and register over the phone (I assume this method requires a credit card).

It may take a little while for the document to open, the file they sent me is pretty big and I wasn't sure how to compress a word doc, so be patient.

The actual event isn't until February 9th, but the deadline to register is January 31st and everyone must pre-register, because apparently there will be no day-of-show registration.

If you're planning on going to this, please register immediately and don't forget to write 'Florida NECO' as your club affiliation on the registration form.

Also, if you want, feel free to print out extra flyers and spread the word.

I hope to see you all on TV.. too bad i cant get down there. would love to attend another meet and most def another Predators game. The Preds are awesome... i got an idea... i can be there. Doug, print out a pic of me from another meet and take it to kinkos to get it blown up to Life size.. then when the camera;s face ya. bam im there.. hehehhehe.. always wanted my mug on TV.. :tongue:

I know what you mean Chris...I really want to go to this too but it's going to be hard to have my car done by then...There's a good chance it will be in many pieces in the garage...Half painted, half primed and just half of it laying around with me trying to remember where it goes...lol...If the damn weather doesn't warm up, I'm not going to be painting anything...Stupid cold ass FLorida winters...LOL...Hope to make it there.

Edit: If there is anyone that wants to go to the game but not participate in the car show, they will be selling discounting tickets during the show. Although, considering everything thats included with the registration, it might be cheaper to just compete. - Jeep Club (5 cars)

- Cougar Club (1 car)
oh, and John Gruden and Warren Sapp were on the sideline for the entire game!!!

All the car show participants got to park right in front of the TD Waterhouse Centre. Well it was a great game and show for only $15 and they plan on doing it again next year, GO PREDS!!!!
