well, seeing as no one answered my door mirror question , I thought I post a different question!

What tyre pressures do everyone use ?, im still on the standard reccomended pressures at the mo (29 rear 34 front) the rears look ok , but the fronts look flat...I will experiment , but ive only had the car 2 weeks and my other cars are much more fun to drive, so ive only done about 100 miles in it so far....which leads nicely onto my second question, suspension, the rear seems ok if a tad soft, but the fronts... blimey softer than a marsmallow balanced on a jelly, its all the more strange as when you manually bounce the front it feels hard. are they worn out ?(98, 37K) or are they all that soft ? or am i expecting too much?
To be fair the two other cars I normally drive are bloody hard, but the cougar feels softer than my mates p reg escort 1600!

Put mine up to 34 all round to haul it down the M1/M25 tomorrow. Fronts still look flat, I guess it's the profile of the tyre that makes them look that way. Not profile as in aspect ratio, just the shape of them.

Not sure about feeling soft, I just switched from a Mazda Xedos 6 with a 1 1/2" drop and Koni inserts set full on, riding on 16s with 205/50s, and it doesn't feel much different apart from the Cougar doesn't hit the bump stops in potholes. Guess your other car is a go-kart.
