I was thinking maybe we could do a short notice ski meet in the poconos or something like that over break. Just a day meet. Would anyone be interested???

yes and the snow is awesome.. I work/ski at Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski area..
Big Boulder opened yesterday and Jack Frost opens next weekend...
I ski three days a week(maybe 7 shortly)
I'm not available to ski on weekends though, because I work on snow..

I spent about 12 hours on snow this weekend.. yeah you could say I like the cold..
but if you dress right, it doesn't matter :) Of course I was pumped with a
weeks worth of 20 degree weather.. makes for awesome snowmaking...and 7 inches
on top of that, is just icing on the cake.

Now I will check next saturday if people are interested in
a small group, I can see if I can get you guys some discount..

Snow sports are for the devil!!!!!!! :ugh:

I tried it a few times in New Hampshire, spent a couple days in the hospital....so im not a fan. Although....when i had the rental scort...i took her into the ice and snow, that was fun :)

I hate snow. I can deal with cold, but snow is my kryptonite.

I love to ski. The best is just picking up on a sat or sunday morning and heading to the poconos for an afternoon at the slopes.

Went snowboarding for the first time last Sunday.
Ow ow. Oh well. Little mild dislocation of the shoulder but the next time I fell it popped back in so it's all good. Just some discoloration and pain. Wooo! Anyway might be going again this Sunday in Mansfield OH. Pray for me!
Also a friend of mine is having a big party/ski/snowboard weekend the weekend of jan 3rd 4th and 5th. The skiing part is all gonna be on Sat but the party will never end. Check out OH NECO for the info.
