I was wondering if anyone could give me a estimate on how much it would cost me to install z3 fenders on to my 2000 cougar??? i need them painted silver and installed.

figure 2 hours labor to install and ~$250 for paint

Damn thats expensive!
Labor is probably $25-$40/hr
I was quoted $200 for paint & install, with labor!

if your car has any amount of age to it, especially actual driven miles...shell out a bit more for the paint. i went the cheap route and have a bodykit that doesnt match the rest of my car. do the install yourself to save a little money. im either getting z3's or x1's after xmas but im having the entire car repainted.

avg bodyshop labor is $60/hr

WOW custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif my shop told me about $500 painted and installed :banghead: they said it was a ***** taking and putting the fenders back on
one reason why I havent done this yet

the first few sets of Z3 fenders did not fit our car exactly
it took them a while to tune the mold to make them an almost perfect fit...so if you have bought your z3's recently they will be fine
swapping the fender on and off yourself isn't that hard, it is like 8 bolts. And you have to take the hood off (be sure to mark where it was otherwise it will not be aligned after you put it back on). Oh ya and if you have sideskirts they have to come off too (if yours a molded that would be hella job)
so save yourself the labour cost...
