Furious Imports (http://www.furiousimports.com) is a shop across the street from me, and I was thinkin about gettin them to do some work on my car. I heard they do good work but I haven't had the time to talk to them. They have James's Cougar on their site, so James, if you could give your opinion of them, or anyone else could lemme know if they're good or not. That'd be nice. Thanx

he currently carries their decal on his car right above the wipers... I think that is the shop that did all his custom body work? I could be wrong but if his car is any indication of their work I would take that as a great calling card... his car is amazing in person if you haven't had the pleasure of seeing it yet..

He must think pretty highly of them if he put there stick on the windshield of Project Cougar. And after seeing James's cougar in person I would have to give them my recommendation! They did a hell of a job on the wide body install.

Furious Imports did every single piece of body work on my car and I run their name on my car not only cause they are a sponsor but I believe in their work. There is some things you need to consider before going to Troy @ Furious Imports.
1. Time - Troy is a perfectionist and likes to take his time to ensure things are perfect. My car only took 21 days and it ended up fantastic, but don't expect your car done in 21 days if you are doing extreme stuff.
2. Price - Troy may cost a few hundred dollars more ($100-$300) than your local collison center but the quality of the two shops work isn't even close.
3. Knowledge - Troy has had the privilage of doing more cougar body kits than any personal shop I know. Within the past year, Troy has installed the following:
Aerogear 8 pc Wide Body Kit
Street Weapon Body Kit
Wings West Body Kit
Razzi Body Kit
Imported No Limit Body Kit
Several Hoods
Several Wings
and lots of custom fabricated stuff for my car.
If there is something you want, I am 100% sure Troy can do it.. He has yet to say no to anything I ask... I anticipate even more fabrications this winter so you all will see even more of his great work in the coming months as my car gets a winter overall :)

James....
thats the "Troy" that you speak of all the time? Damn, I wish I lived closer cuz I would be taking my car to him for anything and everything I can't do myself... his work is amazing and we definately need to talk about getting something a hood into production for TN and/or your store..... :)

Sweet, happiness is only a 30second drive away!
:biggrin:Anyone know where I can get one of those cool TEAMNECO decals as seen in the rear of Jame's cat?

TeamNECO.com Web Store (http://www.teamneco.com/phpaypal)
lots of cool stuff there... 3rd brake light covers, banners, decals, custom gauges, vinyl graphics...
:cover:Gutted, I was just about to buy 4 of the Teamnoeco deaclas when I realised that Intricate.lins was selling them. They robbed me of some cash before, so I'm not giving them my business.:slap:

ahhh... I remember you... I personally color matched Silver Frost with my samples that I have at home.. Avery Silver Metallic matches PERFECTLY... Calon 2 does not and I suspect that is what you received when you opted to pass on samples... regardless, this is not the place to argue about it.. I know both sides and I'm just the middle man... if there is anything I can do for you in regard to an order off the TN website let me know, I'm willing to help out how I can... :)
:biggrin:Cheers Crispy. Just for the record I was never offered 'samples'. I'll get back to you on the offer of help. Cheers mate.:grouphug:

i'm surprised this thread is in this topic and not under Feedback or Maryland NECO or Capital NECO. had it been there, i would have replied sooner, but anyways...
my car is currently under Troy's care. he did my kit the first time, and he's doing it again now along with the insurance work i need done since being rear-ended.
just to add to what James was saying: good work at a fair price, but expect it to take longer than estimated. i hope i'm not stuck paying the rental for the extra 2 weeks...
EDIT: it has now been 5 weeks without my car. i am paying out-of-pocket for my rental. :(

I have seriously only considered 3 shops at this point.. I've got one up here that seems to do amazing work.. the other two are Furious Imports and Ultimate Auto Boutique in Buford LLC, GA.
