the best i could muster up was a 15.8@85mph with a 2.4 60ft. the elevation must affect the times a lot cuz when i just had UIM, exhaust, headers, and filter i ran a 15.5@92mph with a 2.4 60ft at california speedway. i really need stickier tires, these gay contisportcontacts arent cuttin it. btw, i smoked all the cars i raced yay! i was scared of all the cars i raced because i heard the new sentra ser's are fast. i also lined up against a civic and a crx and i thought they were all built so i was scared of them, im used to being around built hondas because thats all they got in anaheim. the one thing i didnt do this time which i think helped a lot was taking off my rear mufflers. hope to see you guys again when california speedway opens up in spring cuz lacr was way too far for me, it took me 3 hours to get there!

The best I got was a 15.74 at 86.5mph. That equals a 15.23, 89.4mph at sea level. I WISH i could have gotten a little lower, but I dont think that is too bad at all, considering it was my first time at the track. I was running like 15.9's, and then I lowered my tire pressure to 19.5 and I got a 15.74. I only went twice on my lowered pressure (the other time being a 15.8) I feel as if I could have gotten quicker than 15.7, but I didnt have time. Anyways, maybe at our next meet at California Speedway I can go quicker. Im happy with my times, especially since the other cat's therehad more mods than me, and didnt go as fast. Im pretty drunk right now, Ill post more info on my run later, I know that I had 60' time of 2.34 tho. I need to work on it. Any advice?

I definitely need to get my engine tuned.....im running slower times than I did before I added more mods, which sucks.... I had run a 15.77 (outside temp was 92 degrees at the time) with only Intake, Headers, and Exhaust... Now after adding:
75mm MAF
SVT TB
SVT UIM/LIM
19lb injectors
My car is running slower....ARGHHHHH....doesnt make sense..oh well. I need to get my damn car on a dyno, get the friggin Air/Fuel ratio, and then get a damn custom Diablo Chip. That is the only way to get all of these mods working together. Not one of the local dynos has a functioning wide band O2 sensor, which really blows. So that means I will have to make a drive down to L.A. to get the dynoing taken care of. Either way, I need to get this taken care of before the Cali Speedway meeting....

When is the cali speedway meet gonna be anyways?
I think once you get tuned nikolas, your car should be pretty damn quick. It is most likely the MAF and injectors...you;re either running rich or lean. Shouldnt be too hard to correct.

Travis,
Yeah, i totally agree with you...Im either running too lean or too rich at WOT.....
The Cali Speedway meet: Wont know until they release their winter schedule. It will be cool to see just how much faster our cars are at a lower elevation. Hopefully several of us get into the 14's...that would be pretty nice....

It's being used as a door stop in my entry way, still unopened. I have another one that is being used as a book end for my MOC books. I highly reccomend a Quaife to anyone that needs it.

 ..so you bought a lancer instead!?!? Im confused

I bought a lancer, easy to drive daily to Irvine in traffic. A 4 puck clutch in a cougar with wild racing cams that lope and shake like a motherfukker just wasn't my idea of a daily drivable car in the 91 parking lot, uh I mean freeway.
The cougar, well............ I have a funny feeling that you guys haven't seen the last of it, he will probably make his comeback this weekend or next.
