We did one highway roll-on from 60-120 and over the whole run, I only moved about 3 car lengths ahead. Worst part was...there were two people in my car and five in his! If it was just one person per car, it would've turned out the other way around. I'm both impressed w/ the VR6 and disappointed with my baby. I though I would have faired better than that. :( Oh well. Back to legal speeds I guess.

EDIT: Just did the math on our cars' weights and I think we were pretty even....I guess the Duratec isn't doing too badly then.

Moral of the story......

Must dyno!

Like the great Vin Diesel said "It doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning."

He could've also been modded. My friend had one with the VR6 and took me for a ride in it. He had I/E and I was in the passenger seat (you usually feel it more) but when I got back in my Cougar, The Coug felt more powerful. Then again, he did have high mileage and beats the snot outta that thing.

What's the weight on the Corrado?

It's about 2700-2800lbs, and I know the owner. His car was bone stock. Seems like a really fun little ride.
