Well it was a much needed mod and with some help from the great people over at Street Flight, the Project Cougar will be blown as of tomorrow night when the install is expected to be finished. This will be the first production turbo kit which will be about the same in Numbers as the kit Craig has, just with some different cosmetic looks for the show circuit. The wastegate, BOV and EVEN the Turbo have been polished and will be installed along side all polished piping and a complete Hose Techniques new 99-02 Cougar Turbo Hose Kit. We should have some photos of the install and dyno runs later this week before I head off to SEMA..
Many thanks to Craig Flango, Keith & Gary @ Street Flight, Gary @ Ford Parts and Luckey @ Hose Techniques for all the parts to assist in this installation for advertising at SEMA 2002. Without these great sponsors, this project would of never seen the light of day for the SEMA show.

Congrats. :) Nice to see more turbo'd Cougs out there. So who else got the kit and is holding out on telling us? ;)
And from the title of this thread, I almost thought this thread was going to belong in off topic.

The turbo kit includes a Spearco air/water intercooler.

The title is funny eh? I've been telling everyone that and they look at me weird :)
The pics should be up later today or at the latest Friday.... I am at Keith's right now and asked him who has it and there is no other cougar at this time up and running besides Craig...

Congrats James... Mines Up and Running just NOT too good as yet....So that makes 3 with tubos atleast...Twins are possible...Two GT30 bearings fit nicely..(hehehe Yeah Puck I knew what you meant.)I decided against it as the price to performance improvement just wasnt there...

What the hell is a GT30 bearing? I dont know what kind of flow maps you have but if you mean Garret t-30 you are insane. So im assuming not... that said...
Two Garret T-25 turbos ARE actually PERFECTLY MAPED to a 3.0L.... and they are small enough to fit... hrmmm...... Wait.. whats this under my desk!

We are still at Street Flight.... good news it looks good, bad news is the kit will not work 100% flawless with 2001 Cougars..... The altenator is not compatable with the headers.... so I now have a 130amp SVT Contour Altenator and we should be up and running by tomorrow night. I will try to upload pics when I get my laptop from the house versus Street Flights CPU

Well with the Turbo, you need some different hoses, connectors and T-Bolts.... so this will be offered in a kit for those who wish to purchase it with the Turbo Kit
Thanks
