Well, to change your icon, click the "profile" button at the top of the screen, it's next to the red search button. If you are looking to just chat with people, there are 3 places you can do it. NorCal NECO, SoCal NECO and Off Topic sections (though off-topic moderators can be asses sometimes, but I don't know that from personal experience). Pretty much it's anything goes in NorCal and SoCal sections. The moderators are pushovers, and even the higher level admins join us for the fun sometimes.
