I think I'm ok. I have some on and off pain on my collar bone and wrist. I'm probably gonna have to go get checked out soon. But, overall, I feel ok. Just sad that it's the third time my car has to go to the shop is month. I think someone here is jealous and gave me the evil eye  . But, thanks for the concern FiRe.

Woke up this morning, started heading out for school and about 8 blocks from my house, a brand new Nissan Altima ran a stop sign. By the time she came into view, I slammed on my brakes, swerved as much as I could considering there was lots of traffic and still ended up hitting her front drivers side. Can't wait to see what type of rental car I get stuck with. Speaking of a rental car, when will I be able to get one? Considering the police report won't be ready until Monday. The insurance will pay for it right? If so, can I rent the car now and have them pay for it or do I have to wait?

For the rental car, it depends on two things, i believe:
1) if it is in your policy for a rental
2) if it is the company's policy to get a rental
3) if they can bill it to the Nissan's insurance since he/she is at fault.

I would have to say that you could get a rental car immediately as long as your insurance company is aware of it.

Granted, I am not an insurance expert by any stretch of the imagination.

I agree with that....CF hood here I come!!!! lol.....I was in a wreck where it was the other drivers fault in March. Since it was the other drivers fault HIS insurance picked up the bill. I got the rental the next day, or possibly the dau after that, I dont remember. But I think I also got mine so quick cause the other driver was cited........good luck with everything.
