I have a question about this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1390227450&rd=1) screen. It comes with "12 Volt Power ". I was wondering as to what they're reffering to. Is it a cigareete lighter adaptor? If so can this be unplugged so I can use a dc/ac converter for in home usage? Basically I need to know how power is given to the unit and weather or not it's a permanant hookup via internal soldering. I looked all over and on Legacy's web page (where it's not even listed) Thanks ahead of time for the help.

12 volt is what your battery is. so all you have to do is hook the positive(usually red) wire to the battery with a switch and run your ground(black) to a metal post or something like it on the car... i can give you ideas on that depending on where you are mounting the screen pm me if you want info on that

Goto radio shack, get a 12 volt wall adaptor, Cut the tip off and strip the wires, find out which one's positive and splice it to the screen's power wires.

depending upon how many amps it takes.. you can use a cell phone charger
those are usually 12 volts
