that right i got my first parking ticket, should i frame it ?
for parking overnight on the street, what a crock, they are reworking the water lines in this neighbourhood, so they have piping across the foot of everyones driveway with some tar type stuff over it so you cant get into your driveway.... they fail to account for me being less than 4 inches of the ground and i cant fit into her driveway or i'l bottom out ...
just wanted to vent :banghead:

You should be able to fight it….because if you cant get into your driveway then what can you do? Just curious
did you try backing in or on an angle?

its just a royal pain in the a$$, the guys who put the tar stuff down sat and watched me try to get in the driveway for 10 mins....
owell it was only $20

Man yopu have no I dea how may parking tickets I've gotten out of. It's too easy. Go ask for a court date, and before you do it expain your situation to the clerk. If they are nice they'll let you off since it is your first one on those plates, if not go to gourt and ask for a night date just to piss off the jerk who gave you the ticket. Explain it to the justice and if you don't get off, it will probably be reduces to next to nothing.
Now if someone can help me got off my speeding tickets. I got the last one last Saturday on the way to IBM. Following my boss, he changes lanes in without signalling going faster than me. Cop walks into the intersection and he thought it was for him, but ofcourse it was for me. Why do I always get singled out? And I was following the flow of traffic!

Too bad I got tagged by a laser and not conventional radar.
I was heading over to the one at VIc Park and Steels for the career fair. He was driving a 02 civic in Champaign color. Basically a granny car. I say it's discrimination

i still have to perfect mine... i need to put it in a smaller box to get a better location (it's not in the best place right now), and i still need to run the fiber optics for laser detection....:)
I've been waiting to show it off at a meet but i seem to have to go away on business every time there is a meet. Oh well... some day i'll make it to one.
