The car looks sweet Craig. Nice choice of modifications. You are getting a new grill right? I thought I remembered you saying you were getting the No Limit insert. The headlights look cool painted to match the car. Have you considered painting 2001-02 headlights to match. I have the OZ insert on the way, and the 2002 body-match painted headlights on the way. I think it will be a cool combination for a really dramatic looking front end. Your hood isn't on hinges, just pins or what? I have seen that on several show cars recently, I assume that is why you did it, for the shows. The color also must have been a show stopper when combined with the 19's, wide body kit, and carbon fiber hood and wing. Keep us updated on new developments. Also, what brake kit did you get? I am considering a big brake upgrade, but I want a 4 piston caliper, and I have only found Wilwood to carry that. I like the look of the Baer more, however. Anyways, nice job!!

What's up with the hood? Sometime's it's painted, other times it's not ;)
I have a feeling that has to do with your sponsorship and you "had" to show the hood in carbon fiber, but your personal hood is painted ... do I get a cookie?
Looks SWEET! I think that I may have found my Calendar cover shot with that grouping of yours and James' car ... now, which angle do I choose :D

Craig, just curious about your omp strut bar. It looks like you have the a/c hose tucked either behind the bar or pushed down. I thought everyone pulled the air hose towards the front and put the bar between that hose and the back of the engine bay (near the plastic cowl)
Edit: Or do you not have an A/C all together? :)

Craig:
As mentioned at the show man... the car is coming out the way you want it. I am very fortunate to work side by side with you on building both cars. Thanks for adding the CustomCougars.Com sticker for the photo shoot. Let me know if you need another one after they wetsand the car.
The C/F hood craig had is currently on its way to the trash :) hehe Nah I dunno where its headed but I know not on craig's car. We are redesigning the latch and since I trailer my car (until SEMA atleast), I am keeping my hood installed with no latch for the shows up until and including SEMA.
Nic about the brakes... Craig is also running the complete Baer 2 Piston Caliper Track System up front with 13" Rotors and the OEM Caliper with Baer Enhanced 10" Rotor System in the rear.
Craig... Now when does that magazine article come out? I wish you could have your car ready for SEMA... What would be better for the domestic scene then 2 crazy color wide body turbocharged cougars? Its hard to say... talk to you later

Craig and James:
You guys have to keep us informed of the date of your magazine expsosure. I have been trying to shut up these local dudes when they talk about their V8's being so fast and so sweet. I tell them about Cougars with Superchargers, Turbos, and NOS on them, not to mention the ST200/SVT/3.0 swaps that have been done to improve performance. They just laugh, and say its a V6, its a new cougar, blah blah blah. I want to see their faces when the read in print, about Cougars with over 250 HP, weighing about 3000lbs. I explain to them about aerodynamics, weight ratios, suspension setups, etc. None of the old school guys seem to get it. I have convinced a few by letting them take a ride in my car. That has shut every one that has gone for a ride up instantly. Then they praise my car to anyone they run into. A few others have also been convinced about Sport Compacts. One guy is selling his Mercedes 5 series, Excursion, and the rest of his project cars and trucks to make way for a crazy Supra TT beast, as well as another turbo car he isn't telling me about yet, and a Hayabusa-monster bike. So anyways, the Widebody Aerogear Cougars are looking sweet, keep us updated on the progress. I want that brake setup. I want that Aerogear front bumper also. I like the whole kit, until it hits the back wheel. I am not about how it flows into the rear bumper, and I am not impressed with the rear bumper either. But the rest of it is really sweet!!
You mentioned the front bumper being sold seperate. The sunroof installer owes me a repair of my SW bumper, or I could make him buy me a new Aerogear one, and say the SW was unrepairable. Lemme know!
Thanks,
Nic

No pieces of the wide body kit are sold individually...

I think he may have gotten confused with the Aero X-treme front bumper, which you mentioned you'll be selling very soon. :)

Cool... At this time the Aero Extreme is for sale

James: that is possible I was confused, I get online late at night, I thought you said Aerogear was offering the front bumper seperately as well. I need to either get some major fiberglass repair done to my Street Weapon bumper, or replace it with an entirely new bumper. The body shop doesn't want to do another SW bumper because the first one was such a pain.
Craig: Do you know Aaron Banker with the crazy silver S2000? I was just curious, because he is also sponsored by Fox Marketing, and supposedly good friends with its owner, Brian Fox. He has a few of the same sponsors as you in fact, like BASF and Turbo XS (you used them for your turbo install, correct?), as well as Nitrous Xpress, you are also sponsored by NX, correct?
If that wasn't enough, he is from Pennsylvania as well. Is there many highly modified cars in Pennsylvania.
His car was in an article in the Superstreet I was reading today. When I saw his sponsors and location, I just figured perhaps you knew him. His car is being recognized as being super-unique and amazing. So now I expect a full article like that on a Cougar soon.
Both Widebody Cougars are worthy of Superstreet, lets just hope they feel the same way!
