Ticking Sound !!

Help!

There is a ticking sound from the engine on idle and when sitting in the car upon acceleration, the ticking sound increases with acceleration.

Does anybody know what this is and even better if they have solution.

Could be your fuel injectors as they make a ticking sound, could be your tappets but they are hydraulic so they work on oil pressure so they should only tick when you first start the engine from cold.

Well it seems like a reset to the ECU did the job..

Will see how it goes of the next few days !
