I've determined it will take me 3 days; no less. Almost a full day and I'm only 30% done.

Removed radiator, installed new motor mount, installed fuel management system, reseated circuit box.
I can't wait to see day 3/3  dude, good luck

Alright Trevor, here it is: :)
I owe all of todays progress to my friends Myrone and Duane, and MC-NECO.
Myrone helped me out all day yesterday and today. Duane put in the fuel pump which I was dreading (working in confined space under car)
RiverRojo and Lepak91 both helped out alot, and the rest of the members kept me laughing instead of screaming :D
modified the fan shroud, installed in-line secondary fuel pump, installed new water crossover tube, tapped into oil feed (stock oil plug for SVT oil cooler), drilled into oil pain for oil drain (still have to find a 5/8 tap), installed supercharger bracket and supercharger.

All that's left is the pulley bracket/pulley, jackshaft, and air hoses. Unfortunately Vortech forgot to give me the "dust shield" for the s/c pulley so I have to wait for that before proceeding :(. Install has so far been tough and taxing what little knowledge I have of our engines, but I've been having a blast installing it. Of course the real test is if it actually starts up after this :)
Unfortunately Day 3/3 will have to be delayed until I get the part, so for now at least I'm in limbo.

I thought the drunken jewish neighbors doing karaoke at the house behind you were the main contributer to the laughter.

The barmitzva was definately a highlight. Redford is an interesting place to live.
Vortech is next-day airing me the dust shield so I should have that tonight. Soulfly is dropping off my 5/8x16 NPT tap tonight as well so hopefully I'll have the oil feed/drain ready to hookup (when I know which is which). After that it's just pulley setups and jackshaft connection and I'm done!

I have a 2001 ZN and it has the returnless fuel system and I read that the SC wont work with this, but I also read that they are working on a kit for the returnless system!! Anyone know??

You can make it work if your creative ;) I'm making a returnless work on a 3L which is a little more tricky but it WILL work :)
For a 2.5 you just need 24# injectors, MAF, and dyno tuned chip. The first two are easy but lots of people might not have access to a dyno tuned chip facility so then your SOL.
However Vortech will be working on thier retunless kit next year, if you want to wait that long.

I have a 2001 ZN too...does that mean I also have a returnless system or is this a hit and miss thing???

Yes that means you have a returnless fuel system!! A cougars produced for the US market made after late 1999 have the returnless system!!

Kinger what are the probs with hooking up a return style SC with a returnless system?? I can get the injectors, I can get the MAF and I have a dyno chip facility 25 miles away so none of those are a prob!!

There are no problems, everything will bolt right up. When installing just follow the directions in the Vortech manual on fuel injector replacement. You won't use the FMU, and associated hardware that comes with a return fueled kit. (Sell it on ebay :)) ALso when you order make sure to order with a blank superchip then you install, and drive GINGERLY to your dyno faclility not going above 3800 rpm (or BOOM!!) and tell them I have a blank superchip that needs an INITIAL program to take out timing and add fuel, then throw it on the dyno and let the faclility do its tuning while you sit back and watch the numbers go higher and higher as the tune gets better and better. This is exactly what I have done/will do next month after its in. Mine is different in that I will need a 500 mile break in on the 3L (not going above 3800 rpm...oh its going to be hard :)) then I'm off to the dyno.
