HHN - HIN, FL NECO combo meet?

Halloween Horror Nights (http://www.halloweenhorrornights.com) - Hot Import Nights (http://www.hotimportnights.com)

Hot Import Nights is on saturday October 19 at the Convention Center in Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights is running pretty much every friday, saturday and sunday in October at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

1) We are definitely getting something together for Hot Import Nights, so who would be up for doing Halloween Horror Nights the same weekend, either friday or sunday night?

2) Or we could do HIN one weekend and HHN another, because I know it may be difficult for some people to make it over to Orlando from work on a friday or to have to drive home late on sunday. But this would mean two trips to Orlando, or having to choose between HIN and HHN, whereas the other allows you to do both the same weekend. And saturdays are peak at Halloween Horror Nights, which means that is when they are most crowded. We had to deal with that last year and only ended up going into one haunted house because the lines were just ridiculous.

3) Or we could do both 1 and 2, I have an annual pass so I could get groups together for HHN both weekends if it came down to it.

Well, we have nearly a month to make a decision and make plans, so if this is something you are interested in doing please let us know which of the 3 scenarios is most accomodating to your schedule.

There are coupons available at Taco Bell and on some Coke products for $13 - $20 off at Halloween Horror Nights for Florida Residents on advance ticket purchase. But we are also looking into getting a better discount for everyone.

I think there are also coupons out there for Hot Import Nights, usually there is a discount if you bring in one of their flyers which you can find at various speed shops.

my sister told me that HHN is super scary. Alot of people wont even venture there cause its so tramatic. i dont take kindly to getting scared, i usually deck whatever is scaring me.lol

Okay, we are definitely doing a combo meet for HHN / HIN on the same weekend. I think that doing Halloween Horror Nights on Friday would be an inconvenience for more people trying to get off work and getting to Orlando by 7pm, so we'll do HHN on Sunday, Oct. 20, the day after Hot Import Nights.

The best discount I know of for HHN is a coupon available from Taco Bell and some Coca-Cola products. It is for Florida residents and is good for $13 - $20 off admission if you purchase tickets in advance using the code on the coupon. If anyone on here knows of a better deal and can make it happen for the group, please let us know soon.

I have an annual pass for Universal so if anyone can't make it to the combo meet, I'll be available to do HHN the following weekend also.

My aunt ues to be a travel agent and still have connections that might be able to help and I have AAA. I will call them and see what they can do. but I will need a really close ballpark of who all will be going.

murphy decided it was probably too hard for everyone to get off on friday so sunday was agreed upon.

I guess we'll just be doing HHN on friday,sunday and the next weekend, seems like the only way to accomodate everyone. This better be good if I'm going to be doing it three times! :biggrin: Yes, this means that we will have a smaller group for each time we go, but its the only alternative I can think of.

I had chosen sunday before for several reasons:
1) thought it might be difficult for people who work friday to get off work, get ready to go out of town, and then be in Orlando by 6:30 - 7pm for HHN
2) sunday is an off-peak night so it would be cheaper, $20 off as opposed to $13 for advance ticket purchases
3) sundays are usually less crowded

But, all is solved, please disregard my previous attempt at organization and come whenever you want. Thank god I have an annual pass! Once you figure out for sure when you are coming, if you are using the Taco Bell coupons, please make sure you buy your tickets at least 24 hours in advance, they are not valid for same day purchase, we learned this the hard way last year!:banghead:

i'll give you a ride, i can only call in a half day that day, because of new attendance policies in place for saturdays. so i will be leaving tampa about 2:00 pm it is up to you.
