It'll be a fun little car... hehe can't wait till the snow starts flying...
But I must do something about the radio... arg it sucks.. :)
Perhaps not as extreme as the second one.. but it may become my SCCA
Autocrossing project.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that about AL. I logged on one day and saw he had posted on every chapter. I thought he was doing the same thing Sled did, when he was doing that dumb snowplow thing last year, but AL had posted like 5 word max posts in a bunch of threads... stuff like "Good job," or "Post pics when you're done."

No pictures yet, although I'm shopping for it...
And when I'm done it'll handle better than the coug :cover:
But I must really find a good place to shop for A1 parts...
or at least a concise list of parts so I can see whats available..
At least when I look for coilovers for the cougar there are only 2 available.. there are like 10 or more for the A1

Oh good, cause it was built here in North America :cover:
So far, I have a strut brace... progress is going slow...
I think I'll put $200/mo into it, till spring... thats a good rate.
heheh.
Looks like it could become a nice Autocross car, and at least it will look cool going around on three wheels. I guess I mentioned to you Eric that I found an Autocross replacement for my Cougar? I bought a 92 TALON/LASER/Eclipse Turbo AWD. BTW I saw under Autocross a blurb about your Cougar being dead? This can't be true!

Sixx,
Yup, i'll be three wheeling ;) Hows the talon treating you?
Yes you read correctly the coug is currently dead... waiting a donor engine.. (well thats what the dealer tells me..)
Current Options are SVT or 3.0.... The choice and lack or immediately available funds makes getting it done a chore...
But I have to move the car somewhere safe before winter... perhaps Brad Noons garage
Tell me what happened to the Cougar? Did you blow it up during an Autocross? As far as the Laser goes at this point I am just fixing things to get it ready for next season. I just spent 460 dollars replacing the front CV joints and Axle shafts along with changing all the fluids in the tranny to synthetic. In order to run it in autocross I still need tires suitable for trashing, and also some AGX adjustable struts. I guess the biggest problem I discovered after the fact is that Laser/Talons have a steering cutout problem at high rpm slalom manuvers. I have read about some possible fixes, but will have to experience it for myself before I decide what to do.
