My engine light is on

I might have a bad problem. My engine light came on a few days ago. Now when I am driving around my car jerks really bad when my rpms is between 1000 and 2000. I have also noticed today that when I was starting to pull out of McDonalds that when I barely push on the gas the is a loud clicking noise. I just changed my oil last week and I used Mobil 1 tri-synthetic. Has anyone ever had this problem. I really don't want to have to deal with the stupid dealership because they are slow as hell and I need my car.

First thing I would do is take it down to AutoZone and have tehm scan the ECU and tell you why the CEL is on. They'll do it for free. I don't know about the clicking noise, but the other symptom, car jerks really bad when my rpms is between 1000 and 2000, sounds like the fuel pump.
