Wow, small world, I am from Hoover also.

headwig- I saw (briefly) a black cougar w/ a body kit on 459 by the galleria a week or so ago. I think it may have been the wings west kit, not sure though because it was on the interstate headed the opposite direction as me. Wasn't you- was it? Also, did you go to Hoover? When did you graduate? I went to Simmons in 97 and 98, but left to go to tha Alabama School of Fine Arts before highschool. My sister graduated from Hoover in 98 and alot of my friends graduated from there in 01 and 02.

Hey guys. I'm a FL NECO member now but I just moved from Alabama less than a year ago. I lived in Hoover for 7 years then I moved to Hayden for 2 years. I'll be visiting back up there after a while. Probly like when school ends for my friends up there so we can visit more, but I hope that I can maybe meet some of you guys while I'm there. It's great to see a new chapter.

Darthvedder- Nope, wasn't my cougar. I graduated from Hoover in '01. I went to Berry though for Middle School, but I am sure we have many mutual friends.

This is Hrhcalico's other half, Greetings to one and all in the AL chapter of NECO. I sure hope some of you know how to work on these beautiful cars. I for one, would prefer to make minor exterior changes to the car, but under the hood would love to make this kitty into a Killer beast.

GoFastDaddy, welcome. Well if you ever need some work done on your cougar, when I come up to H'ville for the weekend I can help you tinker around with it some.

Hey All, I'm in Montgomery with a mostly stock 99 Melina Blue Cougar. I'm really thrilled to see that we finally have our own chapter and look forward to meeting everyone at our first meet

Hello All.

I am part of the FL NECO since the AL didnt' have a chapter when I found NECO. I just moved back from Birmingham a few months ago. I was actually living in Homewood and going to UAB. But hated that so I moved back home with my fiance, Mitchell down in Silverhill, Alabama. Don't know if any of you know where that is.
AW-Glad to finally have an AL NECO and look foward to joining and meeting with you all. Are any of you going to NOPI in Atlanta in Septemeber? I know there are a couple going from Florida. AW-Has there been a website established for Al NECO yet??

Thanks,

Stephie

Yeah, I know where Silverhill is at... I grew up in Fairhope.

Hey Moose! So glad to see a fellow JSU Alum here!!! What's your major? And don't you think we need a new coach, or atleast one for the last half of the season???

Anyways, we haven't gotten too much started. Dan, the guy who had started this, has disappeared. Probably got busy with school or another speeding ticket or something... I don't know...

But Welcome! If you ever see a white Cougar with European taillights (looks like regular Cougar taillights, but with the amber turn signal), red painted calipers, and a JSU license plate with a JSU Alumni tag holder, gimme me honk!

Eat some Jefferson's Hot Wings for me!!! Latre!

New Coach?

I dunno man, my boy plays wide out, #13, Jarvis Houston, and he said that they've just had some bad luck, crowe seems like he knows what he's doing, and from what I understand, he has done some awesome recruiting. NEway, I am a CJ major, and um, since I have the only CSVT on campus, you'll know it's me, so honk! I'll make sure to do the same...

P.S. I am a Struts guy......

Now don't get me wrong, it just seems that for the past couple of years, we'd throw away the last half of the season. And, to top it all off, we're playing Northwestern State for homecoming???

Now, don't get me wrong... I'm glad Crowe has been here for a few years... it does help to build up a football program. I remember after Burgess left, we couldn't keep a coach for more than a year, and our ball program went downhill. But it would just be nice to win the second half of the season.

With regards to Strut's, haven't been there. I graduate in '97 in CS. Some of my friends have said it's good... others say it's not. I might try it this weekend, if I can remember.

BTW, what color is your CSVT??? Any other distinguishing marks besides the badging to look for?

Umm. it's silver, has a spoiler, but other than that, not much. I have had it since late august, just ordered some wheels, msds headers, and will be getting a body kit in Dec or so if I can find a job.... Been playing inturmural flag football, so now it's time to find a job!

Man I didn't even know this existed... :flushed:

I've only been cruising the OT section lately cause I've had no money for mods and I don't like to tease myself. I'm in Montgomery too. My car is basically stock still  But hopefully by next Fall, she'll look and sound a little better. NecoBear99, where do you live/are you military? I live on Maxwell AFB and they have a "Auto Hobby Shop" there with lifts and tools. And its only like $2-$3 an hour for the lifts. Anyways, I'm also glad we've got our own chapter. Hope to meet you all someday.

Hey Chris!

Nice to see another Montgomery person here. Naw, I'm not military, just a normal working class computer geek. Whats your cat look like? Maybe I have seen ya buzzing around here. I'm like you, mine is mostly stock so far, with just a few cosmetic things done, but I look forward to getting into more of the performace mods next year....springs, exhaust, etc. Sounds like the deal at the hobby shop is pretty good. My dad used to be in the Air Force and when I was 17, he and I repainted my 71 Torino GT at the hobby shop on base in Illinois. Its a great service they offer you military guys.

Hope to meet ya soon, and everyone else here. The way its going so far, we won't have a meet until next spring.

Talk to ya later
Gregg
