This drought does suck... But one reason I am glad we do have a drought is because of that damn West Nile Virus... In dry weather like this, you dont get as many lil bittin bugs... And thats a good thing when they could possibly kill you.. My grandmother found a dead crow in her back yard 2 weeks ago... Scary stuff.
I still want to wash my damn car though, it needs a scrubbin and waxxing like no other!

Although...i checked out the forecast and its supposed to rain from tuesday-friday....so ya never know...we might be able to wash the rides this weekend

We need something like 6 inches of rain minimum before they would let us wash our cars again.. Thats either a whole lot of rain showers, or a nice tropical storm/hurricane!! hehe
Jon, don't worry too much 'bout the West Nile Virus, my company (Schering Plough) is currently testing its vaccination/medication in a NYC hospital.......its gonna be allrite..
Can't wait till this is over....:(

dude, that is so cool. When everything was first reported I was one of those people who ran to the store and grabbed my own inventory of OFF. I've since relaxed and am not as paranoid but when I get bit, the WNV is on the back of my mind. Way to go Schering Plough. :)

Im not to concernd about myself, its mostly people like my grandmother (found a dead crow in her back yard) and my son... Even with an upcomming vaccination, it can be to little to late by the time you know you need it.
Trust me Jon, when sh!t hit the FAN, PM and/or call me, several ppl have my phone number here.....:)

Are we still not allowed to wash our cars? :(
and I quote.........
The washing of a vehicle at a residence is prohibited, except that such vehicles may be washed at a commercial car washing facility or by a commercial enterprise principally engaged in the washing of vehicles.
