OK, we're getting close to this meet. When are we leaving, and where are we meeting? Also, is anyone going other than Kyle and I?

I have the directions, and according to MapQuest, this trip will take a little under 2 hours, which means it will take us about an hour and fifteen minutes ;) I would really like to check out the Corvettes that will be in town, so if it's cool with everyone else, I say we leave around 1 or 2?? That way we can get into town a few hours before the party and have time to check out all the Vettes. Also, it will be quicker if we meet somewhere off of 270 and get on 70 from there, instead of going all the way around on 55/70. So is it cool with everyone who is going if we meet at the McDonald's in Pontoon Beach? It's exit 6 off hwy 270, I believe. Tom, is that cool with you if we're the only ones going? Or would you rather meet up at the racetrack? Just wondering cause I'm not sure where you live in relation to 270.
Come on guys...MORE PEOPLE NEED TO COME BESIDES TOM AND I!!!! There will be lots of people from Northern IL and WI there too, and one from IN! This is going to be a blast! There will be :wiggle:,:beer:,:biggrin:, and maybe even :kiss: there! And I'm sure someone will probably :puke: too! Don't make me hunt you guys down and :poke: :)

Pontoon Beach is fine. I live about a mile from 270 a couple miles north of 64/40 so it's pretty easy for me to get just about anywhere. Anything I should be bringing other than a sleeping bag, change of clothes and a camera? BTW nice use of smilies.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I can do 1 or 2. Doesn't matter too much to me.

Hellz yes! "half painted dash" That'a kid!! Welcome to the REAL Gateway NECO, where we start projects on our cars and don't get them completely finished ;) I have had my dash half-done for about 4 weeks now!

Everyone who missed this party, you missed one heck of a great time!!
Free beer at Tad's bar, dancing, females, bonfire, and lots of Cougars!! There were 10 Cougars there! It was a blast! Thanks to Tad for hosting this! Tad ownz Effingham! :)
ladz--I can't wait to see that dash at the Ford show this weekend! :)
