will '00 guages fit my '01?

My sister had a 2000 cougar and she rolled it 3x in a ditch after hitting a deer. so that kitty is no more. but i know the junkyard where it is at and i can salvage some parts to dink around with if they fit my car.
i know they changed some parts from the '00 to the '01 but im just wondering...will her old guages fit in mine's place? i want to try some sort of design (with a catwoman design, perhaps?) but i want to keep my stock guages incase i mess up.
if there is any other parts that i could "customize" from a '00 to my '01, please let me know....cheap cheap parts!! :)

Almost every (if not every) interior part should fit fine. Front and rear bumpers are tricky as well as headlights.

Hey....
First of all, the guages will fit fine. You WILL have to do some wiring work though. All it involves is moving the wire ends around in the harness ends. The way the wires are positioned between the 2 years is different. Make sure you get a wiring diagram before you begin. If you would like, send me a pm, and I can fax them to you. Mainly everything will fit nicely between the two years, except headlights, as norcalcoug stated. One of the girls at our Toronto chapter changed her 99 lights to '01 lights. It involved some work.
