Okay I'm promoting the local economy .. Home of the Indian Motor Cycle.. The Gilroy Outlets .. Garlic Capitol of the World .. (what more could you want??)

A Free car show .. (sorry no NECO machines).. Free music.. (Classic Rock) ... Cold Beer.. (for some of you)..Free parking .... BUT some of the greatest street rods around.. :biggrin: .. ... "Garlic City Fun Run" .. Vintage street rods will be entered in a car show in Downtown Gilroy from 3:30 to 10:00 pm.. Great cars no newer than 1972.. Old time rock'n roll band .. entry limited to 450 cars.. :rolleyes::beer::rolleyes:......:

This will take place on Monterey street in the center of town .. Form up a caravan and come on down for a great afternoon / evening.. AND for those on a limited budget, it doesn't get much cheaper than this.. :biggrin: ... :beer: .. see No MIDI Music.. :rolleyes: And if you are lucky .. Mr Froge' might be lurking near by .. ;)

Three hours left to see some of the greatest street rods and restored pre-'72cars you can imagine.. Some really cool local ladies and good music also ... ;)

I wasnt able to make the show until late when most were leaving. There was some nice rides though. I was suprized I thought gilroy was the most boring palce in the bay, there was actually something to do in gilroy last night.........
