So... Should I wait until the UIM is cool before I put it on? And should I clean it first? With what?

Rag soaked with some rubbing alcohol to clean the surface. Before you use that, use a microfiber towel (if you have one) it will pull up residual dirt better. And let the UIM cool first. :)
