I really want to get rid of these smoked headlights on my '99. I want the Aussie lights, but I was wondering how much adjustment it would take to get them to fit well. Is it worth it? Would stock 2001 or 2002 lights work the same way?

as long as you are replacing with the same year light, you shouldnt run into any major issues, i've heard something about having to take a dremel to the light socket, doesnt sounds major.

you can use the seach button (upper right) and search for "aussies" in the title OR body of messages.....there are a ton of them!!
before you throw away your money (unless ou want the Aussies regardless) you DO have clear headlights! The lense is clear; they just look smoked due to the insides being black. To make them appear "clear" just take apart the headlight and have a shop paint the black parts inside the same color as the body of the car- Voila! clear headlights;)

I have just learned through a friend who works for Hyper. They will be coming out with Euro Tail lights in about 9 months for the 99-2002 cougars. I will keep you all posted.
We've been hearing about euro's FOREVER for our cars. Everyone has said it wont be worth it to make them for our cars, and im sure in 9 months there will be less cougar owners then there are now

I've seen more teenagers buying/driving Cougars now than I did last year when I bought my car.
