I just moved here from Houston Texas and was wondering where a good shop is to get some work done
I live in Sacramento and have been looking for a shop but don't know of any good ones.
Any help would be great.

Hey, cool! New member! :) Please read and reply to the 'New Member' thread at the top of the chapter forum. :)

Talk to Vizual or Tigger, they are in the Sacto area (Viz in Fairfield, Tigger in Sacto)

Welcome! Welcome! I'm in Sacramento also. Give Motorsport Dynamics a call. They're on Arden way right behind Dimple Records just west of Fulton Ave. 648-8000. They're a pretty good tuner shop and have been around for a while.

You can also call Tognotti's. 485-5072 at Fulton and El Camino They are huge into serious racing and can get you just about anything you want, but I don't believe they offer a full service shop. They can at least refer you to another place.

Again, welcome to NorCal NECO, and I hope to see you around soon. It's about time somebody else got involved from Sacramento. ;)

Most of us are in the Bay Area, SacTo area, or SLO area.. Then there's Dawidowmaker who is WAY the eff up there near Chico...

As far as meets, we usually meet once a month, but we're kind of on a break until the end of the month when we plan on crashing TheNinja's place for a BBQ, and we won't take no for an answer ;)

You going to Cougarfest West in July? You should! YOU NEED TO! Register now!!!! :)

Welcome to norcal CofeeGod .. I'm from below the south Bay so I can't be any help with the Sacramento area..

As far as club meetings are concerned, they have been held formally on a monthly basis until this month.. informal get togethers have been held spontaneously in the San Jose area.. Things have slowed down as interest in planning meets has dwindled with the school term ending.. There are no more local meetings planed at the moment.. maybe something will start up again in the fall .. NorCal Cougar has been the main mover in the planning of events..

Bah, we had a meet last month and the month before that and the month before that and the month before that and... ;)

The next 'official' meet so far is CF West.. though we are trying to get a 'hang out and eat' meet together at the end of this month. Personally, I thought everyone would want to take some time off to prep cars for CF West, but if you want a meet make a suggestion! Other than that, it's a vague plan to eat, meet'n'greet sometime at the end of the month.. any ideas on place or date?

I'm also not a student, so my interest has nothing to do with classes ;)

"As far as club meetings are concerned, they have been held formally on a monthly basis until this month.." Didn't I say that?? Sorry, I was busy typing a responce at the same you were posting yours.. sorry about the duplication.. but didn't know there was anyting planned for the end-of-the month.. I'll be tied up with other commitments this month.. Maybe I'll get to meet the new members in at fall meeting.

Dates don't work right in July beginning got my best friends wedding and the end gotta go to L.A
Too bad. But i'm down for anything in August. If I take off to much time in one month my employee's get jealous.
Does anyone know of a good Transmission shop. Don't feel like driving cross the States.
