Guy pulls up to me at the light as I'm coming back from grabbing dinner at Togo's. Windows down, system up, sunroof open, and he revs at me. I roll up my windows, close the sunroof and nod to him. He revs again, and as his engine is revving down the light turns green so I punch it (after turning off t/c and o/d).. he had a half-second delay and I smoked him so bad for the first 2-3 seconds that he just stopped racing me. ;) Moral of the story: You only have to rev once. Once the other guy nods, then you're on, dude. ;)

yeah, i mean, if i were that guy and saw you roll UP your windows, and close your sunroof... i would know that you mean business :biggrin:
.......since everyone knows that doing that makes you more areodynamic, EVEN in an ATX :cover: :)

He left his windows down, and he did see me nod at him cuz he nodded back and revved. It's his stupid fault he got caught mid-rev when the light turned green ;)

what ever happened to the neutral drop in? if he was revving anything under 5k rpms thats what he should have done....seems like nobody likes to do that anymore. does give your car a huge jump start tho...:)
