I just got a Mitsubishi Starion intercooler that I'm gonna hook up soon it looks like this before I had it modified.

This is kind of what it looks like now.

Except the end tank outlets are lower down so it looks almost like one of those Greddy or Spearco intercoolers. I think it is a Spearco core though. All aluminum.
You can find these alot on Ebay, they're popular with aftermarket do-it-yourselfers because they can be made to look like the high priced custom ones for half the price or less. I bought the intercooler on dsmtrader.com. The intercooler and labor to have it modified cost me $210. The labor was done by the shop Corkey Bell owns. Yep the guy who wrote the book on boost. I met him and he handed me the intercooler himself.

There is a good amount of room under the bumper for a intercooler. You are probabbly better off getting a long one than a tall one though depending on your bumper opening. The starion intercooler is a good size.

DSMTrader is a life saver, I use it every day!! I think the FMIC I have in my GS-T would fit our cars, its relatively small and one of the most efficient front mounts. I have a friend who has an Apex, looks cool as ****, but he had to hack his bumper to all hell, but now he runs 10's so thats how it goes :) As long as you can find a place to make the custom piping, you'll be good to go. I got mine from Road Race Engineering (http://www.roadraceengineering.com) for a little under $500. Pipes were another few hundred. And just a friendly FYI, If your gonna do a search, I'm not sure if you know, but the technical name is Front Mount Intercooler or FMIC. Just b/c you called it a bumper intercooler, so I'm just letting ya know! =)
