June 22nd - Nostalgia Days Car Show Meet

Tons of meets... :biggrin: I'm posting these now so everyone knows what's up.

Nostalgia Days Carshow will be held on June 22 from 9:00am-5:00pm in Zion, IL. At the corner of Sheridan Road and Shiloh Blvd.

I need someone to volunteer to lead this meet, because I may not be able to make it (I'm moving). Al? Jenny? I think you two live closer to that area?

Who ever wants to lead this meet, let me know, decide a place to meet and a time and post it here. I'll mass email the info. :)

aaaahhhh yeahh. I'm ready for this one. What time and where are we meeting? Jenny, did you find out whether or not we can register at the show?

not sure yet on what time, Heather said maybe anyone coming from the south could meet up with her at Woodfield to caravan up north

but I am not sure yet if registration starts at 9am, or if that is when the show starts, registration fee is $15 and I am emailing them now asking if we can sign up there or call in our registration, so I will let you know soon!!!

but we will be meeting at the McD's which is right on Grand Ave by Great America, and it is also right off of the toll way, I think it is 90?? but not sure, i'll let you know for sure tomarrow

Okay, the McD's we are meeting at is right off of 94

for everyone coming from the south (which is almost everyone I think except for Lindsay) take 94 north until you get to the Grand Ave exit/which is also rt 132, and go east and the McD's is right on the corner, you can't miss it

we can register as early as 7:30am at the show, and registration ends at noon, voting is at 1pm and awards are given out at 3:30pm

Yes.. we are meeting at Woodfield Mall near Sears FACING 294 at 9 AM.

I'll email about it tonight... so sorry its late... I haven't had internet for a week, so I'll have to take my email list over to my brother's and email from there.. can't do it from your house Heather, because I still haven't gotten your email working there yet.

ok i know im not a memeber of illinois neco chapter im with wi-neco but i know the area quite well for anyone who gets confused coming up from the south its the exit for Gurnee Mills Mall and as you get off the off ramp look straight ahead and youll see (its either a clark or shell gas station) with a right turn right there you can take the right turn by the lonestar and turn left at the light you cant miss it. Or after you pass the gas staion go to the next light and youll see the front of the Mcdonalds to your right. Dont know if that helps anyone or not just trying to be helpful plus i might decide to go out there myself for a little bit anyways.

no that is the wrong McD's, not the one in front of Gurnee Mills Mall, you want to get off at Grand ave/rt 132 and go east, the McD's will be on your right at the first light you get to

you do NOT want the 50's style McD's, the one we are meeting at is a normal McDonalds, LOL but if anyone gets lost I think almost everyone has my cell # and if you don't and are coming, PM me and I will give it to you so you can meet up with us!!! :biggrin:

Heather is meeting at woodfield at 9 am, so if anyone wants to caravan up to the McD's meet at woodfield, otherwise meet at the McD's around 10am!

yeah i realized this after i posted it that was my fault for causeing any confusion. but sadly enough its about the same exact directions coming off of I-94 just going east instead of west and thats why i changed it to outback steakhouse.
