Hi!

This is my first post on this forum, now that I have decided to buy a Cougar :)

I totally fell in love with the cool gauge lighting on the '02, but unfortunately I can only afford a '99, so my first mod is gonna be a new gauge panel. I really want one that will match the blue light from my Panasonic CD receiver; I see Indiglo gauges and lots of designs (Indiglo and otherwise), but nowhere is there a comprehensive picture gallery of gauges.

What I would really like to ask is that people post some "day" and "night" pics of their gauges, and say where they got them from.

Also, if a gauge kit will cause the dimmer to stop functioning (i.e. fixed light level) please say so...

Thanks dudes (and gals), I've been reading so much over the last few days, I can't wait to get my Cougar and start modding!

These were my old gauges.... They were purchased from Black Cat Custom (http://www.blackcatcustom.com) he does make blue ones... the LCD's were swapped to red which again, you can make blue if you choose...

Wow Crispy, great gauge! Say, are you using the original '99 needles? They glow real nice!

I'd love to see some more, especially Indiglo ones... oh and I got to find me a Cougar... bear with me, it'll only take a few weeks...

(MTX is a *must*)

Dirk... those look almost identical except your "Ford logo" is bigger.... sweet, but trust me when I say this.. you NEED blue LCD's..

and yes... stock 99/2000 needles

BTW -- time to put in depends on how well you know the car and how to put them in and calibrate... I can do it all in about 30 minutes and that includes taking the dash apart and putting it back together... allow an average individual about 3 hours or so

well here are my gauges. you can kinda see em. ive changed the dash again, so now its gonna be even MORE extreme, but the gauges are staying. you can see them very well both day and night, and they will fit where the stock cluster is if you want to keep your stock dash. of course youll need to build a trim around them. hehe

Ummm, I don't think I'm gonna do what 1badcat did, what initially sold me on the Cougar (vs. the Eclipse) was the ['02] cockpit. Hey doesn't anyone out there have Indiglo gauge day/night pics?

Does anyone have day/night pics of reverse indiglo gauges from www.speedhut.com?

If anyone has that pleeeez post some day/night pics, I'm thinking of getting the blue font / silver background, but open to suggestions...
