My father is selling his 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi ... only catch ... it will be selling out of my garage :)

I will be placing the ad and in charge of selling the car since he figures the market up here is much greater than the market in Va. Beach. So, I will be cleaning my garage in the coming days in anticipation of getting the car sometime in the coming weeks. This car is vintage ... BEAUTIFUL ... 99% restored (minor interior blemishes). Since I will be the one selling the car, he is going to give me 10% of the sale for my troubles :)

I will keep everyone updated.

Trevor, how much is he asking for it? Not like I have money or anything, just curious.

He is asking $20K, but will settle for $16K-$17K. However, since I will be getting 10%, you better bet that I will be a little firm on the $20K ;)

Sorry Trevor, I tried to help ya out, but my g/f's dad's wife overturned him.:) He's always had Beamers so I thought it'd be perfect and he was really intent on taking a look, but his wife said no more than the one he has now.

After seeing this car, he may want to sell his current one to get this one

Seriously, doesn't hurt to look ;)

The car will be arriving this week and I will take MANY pictures (digicam holds 51 high-res images) and dedicate a section of this site to the car (http://bmwcsi.fastcougar.com/). I will include a nice site page with links to pictures, car info, documentation and pertinent info (price, contact info, ect.).

There has been a delay ... the car will not be up here until July 13th-14th weekend. I have been sealing my garage floor in anticipation of the car arriving, but failed to notice on the instructions that a second coat is required. After the first coat was dry enough to walk on (last night), it became obvious that the floor definitely needed a second coat. I will be applying the second coat on Saturday and it takes 24 hours to dry, 48 hours for medium traffic and at least 72 hours before driving on it. That being the case, the car would have to sit in the driveway and god knows that isn't allowed :)

My father is giving me strict instructions NOT to remove the car from the garage other than for test driving with prospective customers and to drive once a week to get some gas moving through her and to keep her lubed up. Under no circumstances is the car to be driven in the rain or removed from the garage on a rainy day. Jesus, I feel like Faris Bueller's friend with his dad's Ferrari
