I'm making my appearance! (Thanks Chris) I have not actually bought a Cougar as of yet. I tried to join earlier to get advice on buying a Cougar, price/options type of stuff. Right now I'm torn between a '02 C2 Cougar in French Blue, LOVE the car but really hate the blue & black seats..and the other choice would be the 35th Anniversay Edition in Silver, hate the price! :tongue: Any ideas or buying advice?

Buy the C2 and swap the seats with someone else who has seats you like.... Alot of people have blue accents in and on their car and would practically kill for those seats...

Carrie,

I heard that you supposedly get the 35th seats for 600 bucks (all 4) or you can get katzkins (sp?) for less in whatever color you want. It would be worthwhile to get the 35ths for a 99/00 cougar because the seats have been slightly redesigned. But since with the C2 you have the new seats (just bad color scheme ) then get the katzkins 2-tone in whatever color you want.

P.S. Did you go to Mukwonago Highschool by chance?

Good advice, I'll *hopefully* be buying my Cougar by the end of August. Chris have you sold your car yet? And nope didn't go to the high school, originally from Waupun. Oh and silver Cougars are the best!! :tongue:
