I couldn't believe my eyes.. there was a Mercury Comet entered in the '72 and older stock car races at Sears Point on Saturday.. This was the annual Wine Country Vintage Automobile Races.. Surprised that the Comet finished the ten lap affair and actually passed one or two mustangs.. Camaros took eight of the top ten places.. Two AMC cars were the only other cars in the top ten..
There was a sweet 1959 Mercedes SLK convertible, black with red interior, in the MB corral.. along with a green lotus with yellow wheels.. really cool.. ??? .. The Jaguar corral had some great old cars .. At the end of the day I followed a new Bentley (ugly) and new Aston Martin (ummmm) out of the parking lot..
