I was wondering how many people are going to this? I'm driving down to Houston for this, I live in NE Oklahoma. I'll be going down tomorrow morning (I just saw this today, short notice eh?).
If not, I want to get together with some other Cougar owners!!!! Can we organize ameet for this weekend?!? THanx!!

Umm Im not for sure of the digits, but the road that goes through McAlaster, to Dallas, Straight Through Dallas to Houston... I think its 69 and it changes to 45 past dallas, I THINK, im to lazy to get a map cause im getting ready for work :tongue:

It's on a Sunday-Monday? That doesn't make much sense. If it was Sat-Sunday I would maybe be able to go on Saturday.

Yes its Saturday and Sunday:
Saturday: Gates open at 1pm
Sunday Gates open at 11am

Ooh, now that I think about it, Sunday will definately be the only day I might be able to meet up with you, should you come through Waco. My last final for summer school is on the 1st, so I'm stuck here. :(

OMG I saw the nicest cougar (well fastest anyhow) at the drags, a 2001 with the jaguar 3.0 liter v6, twin turbo's, pushing around 1150hp on the Dyno. It was lime green, Rear Wheel Drive... It was having problems so it didnt run yesterday, but he said it had ran earlier (coughing and sputtering) a low 8 second 1/4mi...
Anyhow he said if we want turbos for the cougar, then talk to Speedtech (I think?) In Dallas, TX

I know where speedtech is....................... i have never been inside but ive driven by it a couple of times................. maybe ill go get an estimate some time this week..............

Well, I said I didn't recognize the area code, but that was after I got up around 11. At 8:30, I was barely coherent enough to FIND the phone, much less answer it. Looked at the number, didn't recognize it, hopped back in bed. Was he going home today, or what?

EdgeCat, yah I called, but I wasnt going home, I was going to see if you could tell me where the autocross meet what, I ended up on the wrong side of town (Police academy not Greyhound Park)
Loctnloaded: My dad has the digital camera, but i'm going to get some pictures of that cougar on here....
JoeMomma: Thanx soo much for showing me around today at the autocross... I had so much fun!!! I got back home this morning around 3am, the Cougar got around 28.6mpg with the AC on at avg of 79mph :biggrin:
