Why me? It's the question that i keep asking myself.

Ever since that accident, my car has been nothing but trouble.
1. every time i look at the replaced door i notice more and more how the colours don't match
2. my spoiler (6 months old) is now falling apart where it bolts to the trunk
3. the car bucks when under a load, and below 3000 rpm.

tomorrow i'm going to talk to the body shop and see what they're going to do about the door that doesn't match in colour, feels rough (inside), and the rubber hoses that got half painted white. Then i'll talk to my boss about getting the spoiler replaced with a new one. (and then i'll save up to get it molded to the trunk). And finally, try to fix the bucking problem.

I checked my wires and plugs... wires look fine, plugs in the second bank look like they have been running lean (i think so). Which i've had my car throw a CEL before saying just that. So i think for some reason i have a lean problem, and don't know how to fix it.

and to make it all worse, i'm broke, i don't get paid until thursday, just in time for the CAN-AM tour that i hope my car is fixed for.

well, i think i'm done venting. Thanx for listening.

Hey man
I beleive those duratec engines have a coil pack.
My van has a coil pack, and when the pack was starting to go bad It gave me the same type of problem.

It was hundred dollars for the pack
it was easy to change and fixed my issue

but i had to change plugs and wires as well as the pack because the pack fried the wires and plugs.

If you need a hand to fix, feel free to ask i dont mind assisting

Yeah, the V6 has a coil pack. Check the wires again, visual dosn't cut it, you gotta test the resistance using an ohmmeter.

thanx for all the ideas.

I'll be replacing my magnecores with the stock wires. see if that makes any dif.
if not i'll take it to the shop and see if they can find the problem.

ok, after talking to my dealership. They said that a new coil pack would cost 140 (my cost)

so, i desided to replace all magnecores with my stock wires.

took the car for a spin (80 Km) and not once did it buck.

I can't believe it was the wires all along.

Thanx for all the help. Now i'm ready for Can-Am (just need new spoiler :( )

Yay Ryan, thats super news!

So now the question is....What is wrong with those wires? hmmmm..?

Couple of things Ryan, those wires are one of the better ones you can get. It would lead me to believe that there is still something going on with the car. It is possible that there is something going on with the wires too, and you may want to check that out somehow. Not sure how but may be worth looking into. Keep your eye on the problem though it may not be gone just hidding. Secondly, why dont you post this on the contour board. You will probably come across someone with the same problem or at least something similar. You may have done this and I just missed it. Just a thought. Just keep your eye on a car. Sometimes these problems are very mysterious and hard to determine.

Ok, I realize the wires are better, but then again, they were given to me used. not in the best shape either, the one wire had silicone on the boot.

I will definately keep an eye on the problem, if i feel any bucking coming back i will definately do somemore trouble shooting.

and finally, yes I did post in the contour board in the problems section. I got two people responding neither of which was very helpful

Laura is right about that one. even though there were used wires, I would make sure u check all components. Like i said before, when u come down we can take it apart and check it.
