I found this today. Pipercross makes what seems to be a ram air system called the Viper. They list the V6-equipped Mondeo and the Mondeo ST200 under their products list... might fit our Cougars.

That's like the PRM design. It;s a filter that's enclosed in a heat shield. But I like the PRM better for fitment.

Unless you drive a car really REALLY fast, there's not much of a possibility of you achieving true 'ram air' effect. Basically, it's just another 'cold air' intake (though we have very few) but is worth looking into. :)

it looks like a 2L pop bottle with paint and some duct .. fancied up ghetto intake system

The 'pop bottle' part is carbon fiber, if you read and look closely. :biggrin:
