I'm gonna be in town for Cruisefest Nationals Fri-Sun. I will be staying in Columbus at a hotel. Hope to see some of you guys around.

Is that the event taking place at the Franklin County fairgrounds? Are you showing your car, or just hanging out?
I live a few miles away from the fairgrounds and will definitely try to stop by the show and say "Hey" to a fellow NECO member :)
Any other Ohio NECO members planning on visiting CruiseFest?

Ya it is happening at the fairgrounds. Im gonna be showing my car. Even though I know I dont have a very good chance. LOL Hope to meet some of you there.

According to newspaper this morning, there were 1500 cars pre-registered, and they might have another 2000!? Wow! Does that sound right, or did the paper add a zero?
The organizers brought in, I think, 17 truck loads of gravel to fill potholes and prep the grounds.
My Cougar won't be there, but I hope to check it out on Saturday.

Hope to see some of you there! Although, I dont know what any of you look like! LOL. I guess I'll just look for Caterinas car and any other cougars.

You might be lucky to see just the bikini contest, according to the article in the local paper, the biggest complaint about last year's show, wherever it was, was the number of topless women :flushed:

Yeah, I heard its wild. A friend of mine in my English class was telling me about it - he said hes going up with Barely Legal tomorrow. He was saying that two chicks got arrested last year for eating eachother out on the hood of a car. I'm considering not going though because of the rain........ Rain ALLLL weekend except today (and I heard Friday is the wildest night - too many drunk drivers)
And Linkman - how can people complain about "a bunch of topless women"!? Freakin' feminists and fags don't have to ruin it for the rest of us :tongue: heheh

I hear you on the weather thing, I'm still at work and it seems that everytime I check the updated forecast it's getting worse :(
Went from predictin a nice weekend (on Tuesday) to maybe some sun tomorrow before the thunderstorms arrive, and then rain until next Tuesday. :disgust:

Welcome to Ohio, my friend... Where the weather is exactly opposite of what you want it to be.
...... But wait... Is a bunch of WET naked chicks walking around such a bad thing? I wouldn't mind torrential rain, hail, gail force winds, and even maybe some lightning to see that... Yeah..... And they'd be RUNNING to get out of the rain!...
