May 17, Towers Car Show, 595 & University, S. FL (any Broward/Miami people interested?)

Ok, I'm planning on going to this show and I'm pretty sure ramirez is going. We are planning on meeting at his shop in Broward, I believe its right off 595. Then from there we'll drive in. Anyone else interested in going, we can worry about directions to where ever we meet later. I'm not totally sure what time we should get there but I'm thinking 6:30-7:00.

Anyone else interested?

Its my dad's b-day that day, so depending on if we go out to eat or w/e, it doesnt look like I will be able to go at 6 or 7, but possibly later on. The show lasts quite a while so... I will keep you all updated.

Nope sorry, I've been in that area cause a friend lives like 30sec from there, but never at the car show.

No dvd either. :)

towers doesnt start to pick up until 8pm, and everybody usually gets together and eats at miami subs or taco bell.

we havent really been in about 2 months, we lost some people at work and i gotta cover their friday's, plus i need to save for NZM STL in june, but it would be cool to meet up once, maybe i can show chris how to get there, i dont think he's been before.

im definately in.....if everyone wanted to meet at my shop, it's about 5 minutes off of towers on Davie Rd. and 595....ill give directions if we do decide to meet up before. just keep me informed

hey whats up everyone im shawn kinda new but not really. i wanna meet up on the 17th think it will be great to have some of our cars there! what time does everyone wanna meet up because it really doesnt start to kick till 8 but there wont be parking if we dont go earlier. think some of us should get together and findout how many of us r actually goin to go and get there early enough to get some spots saved! keep us all posted!

Yeah I've been talking with ramirez about setting it up. Times are sketchy right now, but I figure we should get their early. We will probably meet at his shop and then all drive in together. As I said before he is somewhat close to the show. There are ton of restaurants around that area so if we decide to do that before the show we may want to start even earlier. If we are going to eat, I'd prefer eating a sitdown place, rather then miami subs/taco bell. There is an Ale House right there, which is good.

I haven't been to this show yet, so you all probably know the best time to get there? I'm guessing we should all drive in together around 7:30?

this is pretty cool....hopefully everyone shows up....ill be at the shop that day and our # is (954)585-8583...u can call me on that day to make sure we are waiting and get directions...also, if u want, either pm me or caenus or both so we can start to get a count of people and cougars...

oh yeah, i was also thinking that around 7ish would be a good time to get there because parking actually fills up quick believe it or not around that time....i would say meet up at the shop by around 6:30ish and roll out at like 6:45, park all nice and pretty, then im definately down for the ale house or whatever anyone else decides.

Sounds pretty good, ramirez, you might want to post directions on here so you don't get many calls all asking the same thing.

This show is in the same lot as that homedepot/pep boys right?

directions.....whether coming from north or south, the easiest way to get there is gonna be 595...
to the Shop, take 595 to Davie rd (which is west of 95 and the turnpike) and get off going south (cant go north) once u get off, go through the 1st light and make a left on Reese Rd. from there, follow it around about a half mile and you will see warehouses off to the right....make a right into the entrance in between the last 2 sets of warehouses and follow it down until u see bay #4 with a BuzzPerformance sign and my black cat and hopefully a few more should be sitting out front...

to Towers...take 595 to university, which is one exit west of Davie Rd. get off and go south on university and tower shops is going to be on the left or East side of the street....really cant miss it....most of the imports usually park in front of the Office Depot, so i think that would be the best place to show our ****....

The easiest thing to do would be to actually meet at the show in in front of either home depot or old navy, heck maybe even the ale house. It is so simple to find the shopping center, its the first left off the highway, you cant miss it. I dont see the reason to post some directions to get to this guys business, I am not trying to be a dick or anything, but it will make things alot simpler.

Directions: 595 get off on Univ. Dr. shopping center on left.

ok heres what i think we all should do. lets post this message in all the other rooms that way we can get as many cats to go as possible!and now i think we should try to get some kinda head count. (well im in as of now) as for what time i think we should all meet up around 6 - something P.M.. because around 7-8 it starts to get packed and parking for us all will be hard. and if we go out to eat thats like an hour or so there.as for where to meet up ill leave that up 2 u guys and girls if there are any. and maybe everyone should list an e-mail address or # where we can get ahold of each other on friday. what do u all think??????????

We can drive in all at the same time if we meet at the shopping center too, or at a resteraunt. We are probably going to get spereated somewhat anyways b/c there is a tons of traffic, a short traffic light going into the mall and stop signs inside everywhere. We could all drive in from the ale house.

Btw, I only threw out Ale house as a suggestion cause some of my friends and I went their for drinks a while back. If anyone has other suggestions for a place, just post and we can decide. There are tons of restaurants around that area, more if you get closer to Sawgrass mall, but that might be too far.

Hey, I am sorry if you guys got annoyed by what I said or anything. I am totally flexible to w/e plans end up happening. If we decide to meet at the shop thats cool and we could check out your parts and stuff or if we meet at a resteraunt thats cool too. But remember that some of us arent 21 so if you guys were thinking about drinking or anything then keep that in mind. We got time to figure this all out so its all good. Later.

Well I'm going, I'll probably meet Ramirez at his shop and then we'll drive over. I talked with Cougarracing, he will probably meet us there later on around 8pm. We can go out and eat dinner after the show depending on how long everyone wants to stay. I think tuyen is coming. Its up to you if you want to meet at ramirez's place or we can meet over at Alehouse then drive over, or just meet at the show. So thats about 5 people. Unless there are any other Broward/Miami cougars that are interested in going.

to be able to park with your club/group most people park at the office depot lot, its more open and thats a less crowded place, thats what we usaually do.

this sounds good....we definately need to go and park probably b4 7:00 because im sure we could all find parking later than that but the odds of getting 5-6 parking spaces in a row is not that great...

oh and cougar racing, no offense taken. we were just throwing out suggestions with places to meet up.
