Cougar Fest Caravan???

I was noticing we didn't have a caravan put together at cougarfest.com and was wondering if we were going to? Or just arrange our own caravans? Plz let me know what the deal is...

Yep... and as things progress, it's looking less and less likely that I'm going to be able to go at all, much less lead any kind of caravan up there. Finances are going to be EXTREMELY tight (read: I have no job), as are time constraints (read: stupid summer classes + work). I'm still going to try my darndest, but I may end up settling for the CEG national meet in Dallas, and spending the weekend of July 20-21st (my 21st birthday is the 20th) with my friends getting utterly hammered. :)

As far as a caravan, I think my plan is to drive to Houston to meet up with Khusted very late on Wednesday (we are talking 10pm, midnight....very late), drive through the night and arrive in Pigeon Forge sometime early Thursday afternoon. We are still trying to work it out, but of course ANYONE is more than welcome to join us. I would hope more people would like to caravan with us. :biggrin:

And no whining about how far it is or how late it is (;)) Khusted is making a much longer drive than the rest of us, so I thought since he was being a trooper I would plan my caravaning based on his plans. He deserves it! :tongue:

Actually, it works out pretty good....I preferred to drive at night, and to drive straight through....and that puts us in TN right at the time I wanted to be arriving........right around check in time at the hotel, plenty of time to rest up and relax before the weekend! WOO HOO!

Well I'm definitely up for day or night drive... starting from dallas would probably be best since 30 changes to 40 and is pretty much a straight shot there. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make it still working on hotel arrangements, but if we're gonna get there thurs I guess I'll be booking for thurs as well.

Well, the way it stands right now....we (Kyle and myself) are meeting in Houston and heading towards Baton Rouge....



Texas is so big, that if we WANT to caravan all together....some people will have to make sacrafices or go out of their way, it is understandable if people want to start another caravan.


We can do it either way....we can all try to go as a group, or another caravan can be started and planned for those who want to meet and leave out of Dallas. I know some people dont plan on leaving until sometime on Thursday, so...maybe the second can meet and leave from Dallas on Thursday? :shrug: Just a suggestion. :biggrin:

Well anyone that wants to come with me from Dallas to Houston to meet up with khusted and Sunni is more than welcome to join the drive down there. I know it's 4 hours the wrong way, but at least I know I'll be driving with 2 other cougar ppl. We are workin on meeting details so if anyone in houston area could suggest a place to meet near I-10 that would be great...

Ok everybody........since that 59 Diner isnt open 24 hours a day...we will be meeting at midnight at this Dennys. It is right down the street from the diner.
