Hey guys. I'm in western new york now, but I am moving to Charlotte, NC on August 15th for college :biggrin: Can I join now or should I wait 'til I get down there?

lol yes, safety in numbers, right Julie? :) Right now I'm in Fredonia, NY which is about an hour south of Buffalo and 10 mins from Lake Erie. Weather is kind of chilly now, hot in the summer, and really really cold in the winter. I am sooooo looking forward to the carolina winters :) I'll be majoring in French with a minor in international business...but will probably change my major sooner or later just because I can never decide what I wanna do.. :) I just ordered an 02 loaded 35th anniv edition that will be coming in 6-8 weeks....so excited! :) I look forward to meeting you when I get down there !

Ohh!! I can't wait to see your Cougar! I know you're excited! I have some family in the Brooklyn and Manhattan areas. But I've never been to any other places than those. About those winters... It's a mild winter... usually no snow *I guess you'll be happy about that!* Summers get hot but not unbearable. The only thing I hate is the mosquitos! But... that's just giving you a heads up! Have you been down here yet to visit?

I was just in Brooklyn & Manhattan this weekend on a trip tp NYC with my chorus :)

Yeah I came down last year to check out UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, Chapel Hill (where I'll transfer to my sophomore year on) and UNC Greensboro. Decided against Greensboro, to wait a year on Chapel Hill...got accepted to Wilm & Char and decided on Charlotte because it seems like a pretty busy area :) I'm going to need a couple jobs to make the payments on the car, lol.

I'll also be coming down on June 2-4th for orientation @ Charlotte, I can't wait! :biggrin:

It makes me sound...;)...well I'm not...I want to go to UNC Charlotte when i transfer, but I guess you'll be gone by then if you're leaving in your sophomore year. Good to have you aboard.

Super slim. My parents have to come with me on this trip to sign documents and the like (I'm not 18 yet) and my dad already put in for his vacation (he works at Ford :)) So we're leaving on the 2nd, and driving back on the 4th. :)

Welcome. I think you will like UNCC. I have several friends that will be going there next year. I live in Davidson (where Davidson College is located), it is a small town about 30 min North of Charlotte. I will be leaving Charlotte when you come, so I will probably never meet you. :( I am going to be attending college out of state, WV. Well anyway, welcome aboard it is great to have another member.

I am staying with three girls next year...me...the only guy there and three girls...you heard right. My sister, and 2 lesbians. It will be interesting. They have an apartment off campus now, we will either get another apartment or a town house, still not sure yet. But party at my place....woo hoo....Party....party.
