Crispy posted a pic of her hood scoop... it had a red light shining from inside the scoop "intake".

I've seen some cool stuff here, but this has to be my favorite.

If I had a black Cougar I'd get one of those red lights and make it scan back and forth like Michael Knight's.

Justice from NorCal NECO has the 'knight rider' light in his front grille.

Do a search on eBay for 'knight rider scanner' or on Google.

if you search hard enough you can uncover the schematics on building your own "knight rider" light... I have one of NECO's electrical masterminds attempting to build me one... it will not be in the hood scoop though.. it will be somewhere even better.. :biggrin:

BTW -- I have to give credit to Pikachu, he had the glowing hood scoop mod at CF and I loved it.. therefore I borrowed his idea...

Like what Norcal said, I got that light. I put mine in the front grill though. I now have a Kam hood, but it wouldn't look right with the light in that grill part, in my opinion. I have a Wings West kit, and I put it where the Wings West grill was located. Check out www.norcalneco.com to check my car out. It's the black one. Another funny thing is that I call my car KITT after the knight rider car. Everyone says that my car looks like a new version of knight rider, especially with that light in the front.
