View Full Version : My Drunk Friends

So tonight I went to this party with a bunch of my friends, and I had my 3 roommates in my cougar... I don't drink at all so I always drive. Well, 2 of them don't drink a whole lot usually, and have never puked before. At the party those 2 get completely plowed... they were drinking everclear and stuff... So its time to go home and we go out to my car, and we put the one that looked the worst in the front. We're driving back to the apartment (probably 1 1/2 - 2 miles tops), about halfway there the kid in the back just starts puking... Luckily I had my little plastic sunvisor that I put in the windsheild on hot days back there, so he puked in that and not on the carpet or seats... We pull over and he pukes some more in the parking lot... This time we put him in the front and continue on our way. Now on the highway, he asks me to stop again but there really isn't a place to, so I find a place on the shoulder to pull over and he pukes out the window... It gets all down the side of the door. We get back and I clean up most of the mess, and now they're passed out in the bathroom.
Each time is just another reminder of why I don't drink;)
Anyways, I just thought I'd share my experience...
Any advice on getting puke out of the carpets, and getting the smell out and stuff like that?
Thanks...

Or hand them your Detailing bill...
Dude, you must be a cool friend... you're all laid back and all about your friends puking in your car... I'd be pissed, but you seem understanding.

dude, you should tell the cops this story and ask for a medal of appreciation... after all, its people like YOU that they want on the roads more often :)
and hey, its better them be sick in your car than have THEM be driving home and get killed.

ND4SPD: That's exactly how I feel about it. I care more about them getting home safe then whether or not they might get sick in my car on the way back. I probably woulda been more pissed if they had puked all over the place, but they were really sorry about it and washed my car and bought me dinner and stuff... I don't drink at all, and I really don't mind driving to a party and being the one to take everyone home. I'd much rather drive my drunk friends home then not go to the party and assume they have a safe way home.
CGburns: Yeah that just sucks.;)

Yes hand them a detailing bill. But if you don't want to do that get Woolite carpet cleaner it does a great job on seats and carpet smells nice too.

CGburns, thats even worse! It's one thing to hose puke off the exterior, it's a whole different story trying to clean it up from the inside!:disgust:

Puking and passing out in the bathroom doesn't happen very often if you have practice and know your limit. It is a learning curve. Now Imagine being able to go out and drink, have more fun, go to bed with the chick you finally got the nerve to talk to, wake up feeling a little tired, for an hour or two and doing it or her all over again the next night.
Drinking will increase your wages at some point in your life (trust me your boss does or will drink)and you'll want to be able to hold you liquor without puking, so get out there and start practicing. It is you god given right to get drunk!

I whole heartedly agree with you jonny, but I think this is a skill that is inborn to most of us Canadians.....sadly, our American couterparts don't seem to have mastered the art of drinking (probably due to the poor quality of their beer)

just kiddin guys! us canadians gotta have some fun once in a while

That's not a joke it's the sad truth. We get the watered down beers and from looking at some international automotive sights we get the watered down cars also.
