How high are you revving your turbo?

There is some doubt about the ability of the stock rods to take the kind of horsepower you're putting out.

As I said I don't doubt you know how to tune your stuff but how high are you revving the engine under max boost.

In the last issue of "Turbo" magazine the did an article on Alamo Motorsports turbo Focus buildup and went into detail on what they were doing. They said they shattered all four stock Focus rods at the same time at 9 psi racing a Corvette.

Specifically at 150 mph at 9psi and at 7000 RPM. This to me is the key number, 7000 RPM. Have you taken your turbocharged Focus to that RPM and above and if not, what RPM are you comfortable running at.

Appreciate the info.
