Well... i took all day wendsday off to prepare. Here is my thoughts so far.

Clean K&N filter with kit.
New plugs... gaped and indexed.
Clean intake track
Fuel Filter
Oil/Filter change (need this anyways...)
Fuel injector cleaner NOW... one tank before.
Turbo blue... sure its expensive but dammit...we only do this once a year(so far) so lets just DO IT
As little gas as possible... but not so little that you have to go get some like me last year... that gas SUCKED
Check your tire pressure BEFORE you go... then tune it if nesasary later... usually this involves letting air out... so keep em high on the ride in and then we will drop them. I have a compressor.
Rotate your tires if nesasary.... only the front need traction guys so if you have one $hit pair.. to the back wit it.
Some mods to test would be nice... im bringing my ram-air jobby...

Just thought id post for the new guys....

Also, Im taking the rest of the week off for some R&R in the garage... expect some cool stuff to be released soon... im tired of sitting around and WAITING for warm weather.. its hear and im going to use it up. Tranny cooler, EGR bypass, and PCV bypass/catchcan will ALL be done and at least on my car by the end of the weekend.... damn i need this break.

Hey,
I'll be there tommororw, however... Don't know what to change.. I just got my KKM Intake 3k miles ago, should I change that? And..as far as oil goes, I got that done at the dealership about 2 months ago.. if that helps. Should I be taking out all the weight possible, like subs and such? Since this is my first time, I'll be asking a lot of questions, so get used to it. :)

Turbo blue is basically 110 octance fuel. Only places I know that carry it is a station at tele and warren, also 8 mile and farmington. Gonna go pick up some plugs after school today, then do the cleaning. Oil change too, and rotate the tires. Wonder how snow tires do at the track??? hehehe. Also, I'm gonna be running my gtech. Find out how accurate that little bugger really is. Good to see you back Dave-haven't seen you in awhile?

I've been filling up $5 a time for the past week cause I don't need anymore weight in this car. But good news, check out the weather!!!!!Milan (http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USMI0556) Looks like if it's as warm as they say, the track should be dried by 4ish.

Milan has an air compressor on site with pressure guage

I would recommend AGAINST setting air pressure before, wouldn't want a blow out on the highway 3 miles before you get to milan.

I do have one really important question. I forget, if the launch pad at milan is concrete or ashphalt? With all theses mods I've done to my car tonite, I'm going to want to relearn the correct launch RPM and well it's different depending on concrete/ashphalt.

Whole track is asphault with a cement "burnout prepping" area. However I think they recently repaved it so I could be 100% wrong. If I remember correctly, last year I launched at 3,000 when the last yellow lit and I got pretty good reaction times.

well on concrete you should launch at a lower rpm then ashphalt as the traction isn't as good on concrete....

Good thing I don't need to worry about traction!!!
