I saw it at lunch time at Century City. I was walking down to the mall for lunch with a couple of coworkers and we saw this big ugly car with european license plate drive by and it was the new big V-dub. the thing is a lot more ugly in person than in photo. VW really f@cked up on this one. it looks like a Cadillac Seville on crack. I don't care how tricked out it's W12 engine is, this is one ugly looking mofo. and what on earth is VW thinking anyway? you got to have your head checked if you would pay $75k for a VW. almost make buying a Hyundai Tibby seem like a sound investment.

So go buy an old used 60's Jaguar w/12 cylinders, it's cheaper and it's more retro. ;)

that would be the smart thing to do. Audi A8 is also available with W12 (at least in Europe). I see no reason why anyone should buy an ugly $75k VW when an Audi with more classic designs can be had for the same money.
And VW's W-configuration engine is overated. Just adds complexity and weight with no additional performance benefits. If you want 12 cyclinders, buy a Big Bimmer with a V-12, at least the cyclinders are arranged in a v-shape the way God intended.

hmm...does that mean that He also intended 6 cylinders to be inline?
the VW looks better than the A8 IMO

Do you have a close personal communication with god and what does he she prefer? Of the many configurations to date who is to say witch one is best? Inline, Flat, V , W, or does he really like the rotory? What about turbine? Diesel of leaded or regular or does he prefer kerosene? I think the rotory is really economic wise the best all the others have to fight themselves to make power.

if god were a woman, an engine would run on water sound like a kid crying and have heart shaped cylinders that used a fuel that was colored red.
...in a circular configuration

so if god were a woman water would be red? and we would have wars every 28 days
