clear tail-who will buy these?

well like i said, if i have a stock set made would anyone be interested? im asking because im having a tool made for the custom clears for me this weekend. they will have the bubbles and they will be vacuum formed. and if i can get enough intrests, ill make stock clears as well. these will go where the stock outter cover is right now so youll have to remove the red outer half to make them fit.
these are being made by a plastics fabricator and they and they will be exact duplicates of the factory. once i get my custom set i may not have time to do a set for the stockers, so if you want a set email me and we'll talk.

I live like a few miles away from your work.. This sounds like a fun project. I would like clear lenses with a red reflective background or black. i would probably still keep my taillight covers on anyway. I hate the chrome or CF in Altezza style lights. I think the jewels inside them are ugly too. I can get my hands on some huge led lights from the city of milwaukee that can be modified. I dunno its an idea.

and james i respect you, but come on man. im having a custom tool made for mine and i can have the stockers made at the same time. everyone was complaining when places said a tool would cost $10K and here i am getting it made. personally, i dont care if people want em or not, im just giving an opportunity. so again if youre interested just tell me.

if there is a way that they can be painted with auto paint later either on the inside or the outsides I would be in - depending on cost... ALSO

would it be possible that you could have some made that would be a tad larger than the stock tails... ? almost like LUNDS for the tails -- that way we could nightshade the covers or paint them body color for shows...

if both options are available I would be up for the second one more, again dependant on cost

to be honest, I don't mind those ricers lights, I think some of them out there now look pretty nice... there's lots of variety.

This all stemmed from the MAJORITY not liking them, and the people who did, never spoke up and said that they liked them because they didn't want to get ragged on. I have been here for 11months now and I saw a post on the same old Altezza topic the day I joined. Wouldn't you (rhetorical question) sell something that you thought was ugly, but you could make good coin off of it?

As for hacking on the "show car people" they are the only ones getting **** developed for us. If it wasn't for a select few, we would be a lot further behind for available mods. Sure we would have some but we now have more options.

I think the concept that 1badcat came up with is great. Create a system to make the clear lenses and let people do what they want with the lights. This allows complete customization. Everyones tails will have a look all their own. Would these be altezzas? NO! Unless you make them look that way. I think this would give us the opportunity to create anything we can dream up.. Like i said previoulsly. I can get LED sets that are made up of hundereds of lights per unit. you can pull out each LED separately and create a shape that would fit in the opening perfectly. Have the insides of the lights (the white part) painted body color and you are set. install the LED sets for the main brake lights. Get some decent backup lights installed... And seal the covers on. Throw on the taillight covers if you wish and you are set. Custom LED Tails. :biggrin:

The point I was trying to make was how I can't stand when women do that to them selves. Despite their size or lack there of, I would much rather see them in an all natural state. Not to mention there are very very few implant jobs that look good after the girls clothes are off. Although they do have new techniques of implanting them (I.E. insert through belly button) the unneeded scar tissue is gross, the shape is gross, etc.. Small size increases can be ok, but when they stretch the skin that much.. It looks like they are pasted on with some super glue.

Which are customizable by the buyer.

Once I see a finished product I will then determine if I will buy them.

I think it's great that 1badcat has the know how and is considering

I also think that they would sell great and being customizable just adds to it.

look at caterina's i could put a red piece in their for one of the circles and leave the other one clear and the new lense their is no way for it too have bubbles. in other words i can make it look like rela altezzas almost except the fact that they will be custom. i can do any color, and im waiting on caterina to get me a 3rd brake light and than ill do that. but i can make these tails anyway yous want them i can shave lights completely out of the picture if you wanted me to. i shaved the lil light on the side on cats and it looks way cleaner. but its up too anybody that wants me to make these.
