I am looking to do the Ghetto Guard on the bottom But I do not wish to attach them to my plastic grill and put them in like that. So to the question..... How do you guys/gals have your Ghetto Guard attached? Thanks in advance.
Searching came up with this result. Anything else?
I just used this pastey fibery stuff from Parts America(kind of like bondo). It comes in a can with a tube of hardener and u mix it. I just bent the mesh how i wantd and applied the stuff like bondo underneath. It came out really clean and holds up to anything

i used black zip ties to put mine on when i had it... the grills are neat looking at first but then you will realize how korny the gutter guard actually is. my advice if you want a really good lookin grill on your 99 is to get ahold of a 2001 upper grill because it matches the bottom grill perfectly, then paint it silver or gray. i got the 2001 grill from the dealership for like $40 and all you do is trim the edges till it fits.
but hey its your car so do what you like. im just offering you an alternative. but definitly go with the zip ties. they arent permanent like bondo or epoxy, if you ever wanna take them off just snip them off with clippers or scissors.

I used matching aluminum mesh in all the openings on my car (lower grills, upper grill, & hood scoop)...I think it looks great! The new lower grills are attached at the factory mounting points. It was easiest to do this by removing the front bumper cover, but you could do it by just removing the lower radiator splash shield. I just cut the aluminum mesh a little larger than the opening, cut slits in it where the factroy grills attch to the clips, and put them in place and bent the ends over the edges. I'll attach a couple of pics of the completed grills!
