ok i recently installed 4 pioneer 6x8's in my front and rear panels, however yesterday the rear ones stopped working. They still produce sound but, very very little. I checked fuses, all were ok. Anyone got any ideas what I can doto fix this problem. The weird thing is, that it is both not just one so, it must have to do with the rear channel of either the hu or the stock amplifier. thanks for any info.

Maybe something came undone in the back of the head unit. Assuming you still have the factory head unit you probably didn't go back there. I'd check to make sure the wires are properly connected into the speakers. You could always reinstall a factory speaker back there and see if its still low, just so you know its not the speaker itself.

i have a aftermarket pioneer head unit and i checked the connections behind it. it has to do with something with the same channel, because both are doin the same thing. i will try an old factory speaker. thanks

I'm having a similar problem w/ a pioneer head unit and the rear speakers. What did you end up doing to fix it?

Does your pioneer have a fi setting on it...I have seen a few in the past with this feature and whenever it was turned on you would loose almost all volume from the back.
