I have pioneer 4 way 6x9's and my stock head unit. They sound really good, and they weren't terribly expensive.

I'd get MB Quart components. You can get a 5.25" + tweeter on a mounting bracket for sure. Maybe even a 6.5" and tweeter on a bracket to fit in the 5x7 or whatever hole is there. Otherwise you can mount the tweeter where the side mirrors are. You may need a good amp to push the MB Quarts to their potential though, not sure if just the radio can push them enough.

ya components are the ****. I have 6.5 inch polk components in my coug. powered by an alpine flex 75X4 amp with an mtx cross over the hi's are outstanding. My car sounds like a concert from at least a block away and i have no subs at the moment. However they kind of crackled alot before i got my crossover so i would get a different set, maybe polk momo's they sound extriordanary(however you might spell that one) and will not crackle. Good luck let us know the out come of this whole thing
